Unrecognised Schools – Help or Hurt the Poor?

Implications of the Delhi High Court Judgement on Unrecognised Schools
 27 March 2008, Constitution Club, New Delhi, 3 pm to 6 pm

 

In February 2008 the Delhi High Court ordered all private unrecognised schools to either seek recognition or shut down. There are 10,000 such schools in the capital catering to about 6 lakh children between the age group of 2 to 18 years. The judgement will have a significant impact on school education in Delhi.
