Advanced Liberty for Change Seminar, 3-6 January
2009
The Advanced Liberty for Change
Seminar builds on the basic understanding gained by
students who have attended the ‘I, Society and
Public Policy Seminar’. The Advanced Seminar
would be is a four-day seminar with an in depth coverage
of libertarian / classical liberal / civil society
issues.
The seminar will have special focus
on Austrian Economics: Methodological individualism,
methodological subjectivism, and an emphasis on processes
rather than on end states. Ayn Rand’s Philosophy
of Objectivism: Metaphysics-Objective Reality,
Epistemology-Reason, Ethics-Self-interest

Communication Freedom Workshop,
19 - 22 February 2009
The workshop aims to build capacity of CCS graduates
to enable them to create social change through public
policy and carry the torch of liberty and social change.

Research Internship: The Research
Internship Program Researching Reality provides
a greatly valued and needed learning experience in
real-life application of social and economic principles
and in teaching college students the skills of research,
analysis, writing, and above all critical thinking.
Jeevika: Livelihood Documentary Competition
and Festival, August 2009
It is a competition which enables professional and
student filmmakers to make documentary films capturing
the livelihood challenges faced by the rural and urban
poor, and bringing it to the attention of current
and future policy makers. The best documentaries are
screened, awarded and advocated by CCS, partners and

to work towards a change in your city with like-minded
young people?
Friends of Freedom, a network of
CCS graduates are active in Delhi, Ranchi, Jaipur
& Bangalore. You can join an existing FOF or start
one in your city!
FOF members get opportunities like:

Project
Grant is a monetary assistance provided to
individual graduates who plan to implement an activity
or an action in the campus for students to promote
learnings of the CCS Seminars and its principles.
An individual graduate must have 2 other individuals
who can support the project.
Network Grant is a monetary assistance
provided to small youth groups, networks and FOF groups
developed or lead by CCS graduates in and around educational
campus and is able to work on thematic areas. The
group must have minimum 8 members and who have a long
term vision to work in and around the campus.

in April 2008, the Liberal Youth Forum (LYF-India)
is a movement of young individuals, informal groups
and formal associations collaborating to create access
and choice in social, cultural, economic, political
and environmental spheres for a freer and more prosperous
India.

Volunteering
with CCS provides an opportunity to learn new skills
and to develop existing ones. With so many different
volunteering opportunities on offer at the Centre,
there's bound to be something to suit you. All volunteers
are provided certificate and exciting opportunities
to attend events and meet new people and personalities.
Volunteering at CCS varies from promoting youth programs,
advocacy of CCS campaigns, visit educational institutions
and campuses for presentations, telephone interview,
word processing, file management, updating database
information.
We also invite volunteers for team work towards the
preparations of Jeevika: Livelihood Documentary Festival
