The Centre maintains an extensive library on issues of its concern. It also receives publications (books, journals, and newsletters) of think tanks from around the world. The library is dedicated to the memory of Professor B R Shenoy and is open to the public.

Library Membership Fees |
- Student Membership (Rs. 1000)
Rs. 500 Deposit and Rs. 500 Annual Membership Fee
- General Membership (Rs. 1500)
Rs. 1000 Deposit and Rs. 500 Annual Membership Fee
- CCS Supporter Membership (Rs. 1500)
Rs. 500 Deposit (No membership fee for the first year)

Payment can be made by cash/ cheque/ demand draft in favour of "Centre for Civil Society." |
Library Rules |
- 2 books can be borrowed at a time for 1 month or 1 video for 1 week.
- Re-issuance will be done only once.
- Overdue books/ journals will be charged Rs. 10 per day and for videos Rs. 50 per day (including weekends)
